I generally work on a floor mat using hands, arms, legs, feet, herbal therapies and tools. The experience can range from gentle and relaxing to vigorous deep tissue. I am patient, detailed and thorough. Treatments focus on relief of symptoms and underlying patterns. My goal is to never force, but to meet the restriction pattern and follow it through to resolution, or as close as we can get to that.

Thai Bodywork

First visit for personal injury cases: schedule 90 minutes. 

Follow-up visits: 60 minutes unless your adjuster has documented approval for extended sessions. 

Bring insurance information, adjuster's contact info, claim number and a prescription for massage to your first visit. Price listed is the amount we bill.

Auto Injury Bodywork

Younger Kids tend to have shorter attention spans and their bodies change more easily. Same services as for adults but geared toward youth.

Pediatric Bodywork

Learn some simple but effective techniques to help you and a friend stay pain free and mobile in between bodywork appointments. This appointment is designed for two participants: one person should add their own information to the self-scheduled appointment and then please provide me with the other person's information separately so I can add them in from my side. At least one of you must be established in my practice already. 

Each session will begin with a short Wai Khru, meaning paying respect to the teachers, as this is how Thai tradition honors and remembers where the information came from. This is followed by short instruction and cultivation on a beneficial mindset according to Thai medicine. We will then begin with the bodywork portion.

Massage a Friend Class

Designed as an adjunct to your regular birth class, this is for a 2 person team-- one pregnant and one support person. The focus is on taking care of the body during birth and on recovering afterword: including bodywork techniques, daily habits, herbal support and more. Information is gathered from a traditional Thai and modern Western perspective. We will discuss theories, practice skills and prompt practical discussions. My goal is to leave you more prepared to recover well and face life after the birth has happened. I'll also include information on care for miscarriage and abortion, should either of those come to pass. 

Feel free to submit questions or concerns and I'll either address them or find resources for you to the best of my abilities. 

Ideally we would meet in person 3 times: once a month for 2 hours each in order to practice stills and cover more information. But even one meeting should get you a good start.

When you book this, one person book with their information. Then send me the information for the second person and I'll add them from my end.

Postpartum Prep -- 2 Person Private Class

This home visit is geared toward people who have given birth, had a miscarriage or abortion within the last 1-3 months. If it has been longer it may still be reasonable to do a home visit. We can discuss prior to booking. 

Sarah will come to your home armed with aromatic healing herbs, healing hands and experience as a parent. I can also offer health coaching: including breathing exercises and movement, help with meal planning and generally support you on your path of recovery.

We'll need a comfortable place to receive bodywork (I do not travel with a mat), access to an outlet, a bath towel or two, hand towels, a warm robe and plenty of fluids. 

**There may be a travel fee associated with locations requiring more drive time than I have allotted for this booking. This will be discussed after I have received your information. 

I can bill health insurance for one hour of bodywork per covered person (see insurance info on my website). You will be responsible for copays/coinsurance and the remainder of the fees associated with the visit.

This visit requires a non-refundable deposit at booking. If there is a cancellation within 48 hours, we can move the appointment once before a new deposit is needed.

Postpartum Home Visit

***Available in Gresham Only***

Soak in your own personal herbal sauna complete with a healing mixture of Thai herbs formulated to cleanse, increase circulation and ease tension. This is a great way to increase benefits of a bodywork session. 

Bring a clean bath towel from home please. Optional: also bring a robe if desired.

Liability Release Form is required to receive a steam. Find it in your confirmation email.
